Hillary Clinton: “We came, we saw, he died.”

Cackling at her own cleverness, Secretary of State Clinton can be seen below in a CBS interview paraphrasing Roman Emperor Julius Caesar’s “Veni, vidi, vici” (I came, I saw, I conquered) in her comments on Libyan autocrat Moammar Qaddafi’s capture and execution. You have to wonder how this woman imagines herself on screen; the Imperial Ego on display here is as juvenile as it is nasty: Clinton comes off as a bloodthirsty high school cheerleader, one of the snarky “in-crowd” girls with privileged access to the quarterback and a switchblade in her pocketbook. Hooray for our team: another “humanitarian” mission wins the day! Just pay no attention to the civilian deaths estimated in the tens of thousands, or the cities pummeled back into the Stone Age, grim result of the 26,000 US/NATO air raids in six months of bombing. Libya, once a nation which boasted the highest standard of living in Africa, is reduced to chaos and rubble, preparation for the Empire’s corporate vultures to move in.

Figures. Absolutely figures. She had the nerve to trumpet America’s aggression back hat John Jay Community College couple months back. This is despicable.
