The WBO is looking for contributors of: commentary on issues of local import; local reportage and photography, including coverage of Williamsburg’s art scene; comics and related graphic forms; cultural criticism and philosophic essays; epic poetry. We seek work that explores the confluences between the local and global, the personal and political, and between life and art–work that celebrates the peculiar and idiosyncratic, the unbelievable but true, and the visionary and/or apocalyptic within the ridiculous and mundane.

“There are no more artists because everybody is an artist. The work of art of the future will be the creation of a passionate life.” -Raoul Vaneigm, The Revolution of Everyday Life
